Due Diligence
An independent second pair of eyes on your lab project, before the money is committed and the concrete is poured.
Why it matters
The invisible cost of disconnected lab design
Lab projects rarely fail with a loud bang; they fail expensively and quietly. Think structural floors unable to take equipment loads, ventilation concepts failing compliance audits, or rigid layouts locking out future expansion.
Arena’s due diligence catches these before they become change orders.
When to use it
Before acquiring or leasing a building for lab use, before releasing capex on a design, or when a third-party design needs independent verification before tender.
What we assess
Structural capacity, floor heights and service routes, evaluation of regulatory and standards compliance, lab-specific performance (ventilation, containment, utilities), feasibility and risk. Space availability for placement of mechanical services.
What you receive
A written assessment with findings ranked by risk, compliance gaps against NABL, GLP, lab design frameworks and applicable codes, and clear recommendations for your project team to act upon.
Because Arena is design-only and vendor-neutral, the review has no products to sell and no contractor to protect. The finding is the finding.
