Arena Consultants was commissioned to design the interiors of a 20,000 sq. ft. R&D and corporate facility for a leading chemical manufacturer in Vadodara. Spread across two floors, the project was envisioned as a high-performance space that seamlessly integrates state-of-the-art laboratory infrastructure with a modern, employee-centric office environment. The goal was to create a setting that supports both advanced chemical research and efficient organizational operations.
Lab Architecture and Interior Design
The laboratory areas were equipped to meet rigorous safety and functional standards essential for chemical research. Key installations included fume hoods, lab-grade furniture, chemical-resistant pegboards, emergency eyewash stations, and spot extractors. The analytical lab was strategically planned for optimized workflows, while the HVAC system ensured safe air circulation and environmental control. Every element was designed to enhance user safety, maintain compliance, and support both routine testing and specialized R&D activities.
Lab Office Architecture and Interior Design
The office spaces were crafted to offer a balance of focus, collaboration, and comfort. The layout included open workstations, an MD cabin, well-equipped meeting and conference rooms, and a fully functional pantry. To support employee well-being and engagement, a dedicated gaming zone was integrated into the design. The interiors combined modern aesthetics with ergonomic functionality, creating a vibrant workspace aligned with the company’s culture of innovation and excellence.
