Greenfield Research Park, Genome Valley, Hyderabad

This project features Research spaces that are designed bearing in mind specifically for ‘Budding scientists’ and ‘Innovators’. The research park is provided with all amenities such as centralised chemical and solvent storage buildings, centralised ETP and STP, transformer, electrical panel building etc. The main entrance from the public road with a differentiation-separate entry/exit for vehicular traffic and service entry. Surface parking is planned with solar panels which serve a dual purpose- providing energy sufficient to cover lighting requirements for the plot as well as provide shade to cars. A total of 135 cars and 52 two-wheelers can be parked at surface level and basement together.

Lab Architecture and Interior Design

There are 4 laboratory buildings of 51000 sft each and an administrative building which extends into a huge open to sky seating space. This break-out area is centrally located and designed as a ‘happening place’. An access road has been provided for a fire tender to pass all around in case of emergency. The laboratory buildings offer tenanted spaces that are modular in nature and supported by a central service corridor. This would give flexibility to tenants by having multiple size lab spaces. The design is meant to encourage collaboration and cross pollination of the various activities and research that will take place in the building and on the campus. Each floor has dedicated spaces for services and the terrace design has the bearing for all mechanical and exhaust systems.
